At 14, Tracie entered and won a Seventeen Magazine “Plan a Dream Room” contest. (Her entry: a sunset-inspired bedroom. The prize: a Lane hope chest, which she still has.) After seven years in the interior design studio of Lazarus department stores, her first solo project was a series of villas for Jack Nicklaus on the first fairway of Muirfield Village. Having her own successful interior design business for 35+ years, her projects range from renovation and new-builds to second homes and downtown condos.
“People invite me into their homes, into their lives, and into their families. Design is personal. And it’s an absolute privilege to be part of it.”
